- Why does Recreational update once a minute?
- It keeps the price down. Your boat’s position and data refresh once a minute, and an alarm can take up to a minute to reach you. On Skipper it’s updated every 5 seconds.
- Can I move up later?
- Yes. Move from Recreational to Skipper from inside the app, whenever you like.
- Will it work with my boat?
- If your boat has an NMEA 2000 network, yes. SeaTrack shows what your instruments send: engine and fuel data from your engines, Motion from a motion sensor, and so on. The more your boat sends, the more you see.
- What if the boat loses its connection?
- The SeaTrack One keeps its readings and sends them when the connection is back: nothing is lost. How live the data looks depends on the boat’s internet: a slow or patchy connection can delay it.
- What does “12 months” mean?
- Recreational: pay for the year up front and get a month free. Skipper: a 12-month plan, paid monthly, with the SeaTrack One free. Renew for another 12 months and the price drops.
- Which currency?
- Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST for customers in New Zealand. We ship worldwide.
- I run boats for a business or a club.
- That’s Fleet, from one vessel. Talk to us and we’ll set it up with you.
- Can I see it before I buy?
- Yes. Try the demo: your own demo account on the real SeaTrack, with our demo fleet running around the Hauraki Gulf. No card, no hardware.
